Matt is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. After graduating, Matt attended Humber College where he studied Media Copywriting. After a decade in the business, Matt added teaching to his schedule by accepting a part-time position at Humber as a Digital Copywriting Instructor. Matt is a writer by craft and an inventor at heart. Using creativity, technology and strategic insight, he's spent 19 years building brands as varied as Nissan, Rogers, Visa, Dove, Target, Tim Hortons, and World Vision. His award-winning work has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, The Huffington Post, New York Magazine, and The Globe and Mail. Most recently, Matt and his team were awarded two Cannes Lions for their transformative design work on Innocence Canada (Silver, Logo Design; Bronze, Excellence in Effectiveness Category). Matt's standard of excellence will ensure that the quality of all work is safeguarded and the most compelling to the consumer. Matt has a total of 19 years in the advertising/marketing field. 9 years as a writer 10 years as a Creative Director/Chief Creative Officer.
