Agency Transformation Summit

May 14-15, 2018

Stand Up for Your Value!

The ICA’s Agency Transformation Summit is an engaging and essential leadership forum for the agency sector.

Addressing how the profitability and growth of an agency are directly related to valuing creativity and championing that value to clients, procurement officers, and consultants, the Summit is a unifying call-to-action for our industry.

Today’s business challenges – compressed margins, procurement-driven agency selection processes, increased commodification and longer and longer payment terms – require nerve and new thinking.

Finding value-based solutions to critical business questions
The Summit’s agenda is a blueprint to empower agencies to stand up for their value.  Topics and dialogue will generate ideas to amplify, protect and transform the value of “work that works.”
  • How do we put a price on creativity that emotionally targets consumers, solves business problems and drives behavioral change?
  • How do we promote the value of our talent and their ability to solve client business challenges?
  • How do we navigate the relationship between marketing and procurement?

Speakers
The Agency Transformation Summit features progressive thought leaders from Canada, the United States, and the UK.

Keynote speaker
  • David Meikle, author of “How to Buy a Gorilla” founder of The How to Buy a Gorilla Company. David will be examining the existing paradigms of the working and commercial relationships between marketing, procurement and agencies, and offering us a new approach to how we can collaborate in more trusting, more productive, and more effective ways.

Amplifying the value of work that works
  • Kerry Fleiser, president and impact creator at K.I.F. Marketing Solutions, helps agencies craft indispensable marketing roadmaps that include RFP stewardship, and more.
  • Andrew Keen, author of “How to Fix the Future,” is one of the world’s best known and controversial commentators on the digital revolution.
  • Jody Sutter, is a renowned New York-based business development coach who helps agencies build value propositions and strategies to win the right clients more often.
  • Anthony CK Thomas, head of Rogue, is an atypical new business leader who helps agencies maximize their potential.

Protecting the value of work that works
  • Ronald J. Baker, author of “Implementing Value Pricing,” and founder of VeraSage Institute, a revolutionary think tank advocating new practice methods for agencies.
  • Blair Enns, CEO of Win Without Pitching, is a business development advisor and trainer to creative agencies on how to build a client base without having to pitch ideas for free.

Transforming the value of work that works:
  • Jack Skeels, CEO of AgencyAgile, a productivity training, and coaching firm, advocates a new agency model to help agencies “go better, faster and happier.”

"By standing up for what they are worth, agencies not only stand up for their business, brand value, and talent, but the industry at large.” – Scott Knox, President & CEO, ICA
