ICA announces Weber Shandwick as first PR agency to become association member
The ICA announces the addition of Weber Shandwick to its membership roster -- the first public relations agency to join. The agency is one of the world's leading global public relations firms with offices in major media, business and government capitals around the world, which now takes a prominent seat at the Canadian communications association’s table.
Throughout the past year the ICA has seen a steady growth in membership of 10%, signifying the pivotal change in the communications assets advertisers have at their disposal. "Agencies are increasingly discovering the important role ICA plays in providing leadership for the Canadian communications industry," observed Gillian Graham, CEO, ICA. "We are particularly pleased to welcome the first PR agency, Weber Shandwick, into our fold. As last year’s Global PR Agency of the Year, Weber Shandwick is a highly valued addition to our ICA membership."
